The third beer to join our range of barrel-aged beers, Gansbeek Brown has been placed in American Rye Whiskey oak barrels for 6 months.
Behind its black colour with a creamy beige head are aromas of roasted malt, whiskey, banana and vanilla.
On the palate, the elements of the whisky barrel dominate: vanilla, dried fruits, spices and alcohol. There are also chocolate flavours on the finish with a well-balanced, full-bodied character. The finish is slightly dry with a whisky warmth and a nice lingering bitterness.
